Rare Roz Posted August 27, 2022 #1 Share Posted August 27, 2022 I'm taking a 31-day South American cruise next year from March 10 - April 10. In the course of looking for return flights from Ft. Lauderdale, I realized we're going to be onboard for Easter. 🐰 Will there be an Easter egg hunt? How will the Easter bunny find me? Am I allowed to embark with an Easter basket in my carryon? In all seriousness, does HAL acknowledge Easter? Maybe a special menu at dinner? I don't expect there to be any children on this cruise so I doubt there will be any kind of activities for kids. YXU AC*SE Posted August 27, 2022 #4 Share Posted August 27, 2022 Pretty quietly really -- some Easter-themed décor in the dining venues, and your typical ham and scalloped potato and/or lamb as a MDR dinner option. Hot-crossed buns appear on the breakfast lines at the bakery stations. Being in South America, you might see something like Tarta Pascualina, but in all probability not. bennybear Posted August 27, 2022 #6 Share Posted August 27, 2022 Very disappointing Easter brunch in the pinnacle, Mimosas available for purchase and underwhelming menu and not even dessert!
Florida_gal_50 Posted August 27, 2022 #7 Share Posted August 27, 2022 I’ve been on ships a few times over Easter, generally on canal cruises. I’ve found some decorations and maybe some small chocolate eggs. I don’t remember anything special on the menu. I like lamb so I would have ordered it if available.

Dry disappointed as it was also our anniversary celebration and not even dessert. The cake we ordered they brought at dinner.
