Hi - Can anyone recommend things to see and do in Santa Barbara. Thx

The zoo is right at the beach. 

 

There is a small but impressive art museum downtown. 

The courthouse has a bell tower with a great view as well as an historic mural room.

 

Stearn’s Wharf has shops, restaurants, and a small aquarium.

 

State Street is their main street. Many shops and restaurants along this quaint and historic business district.

 

Last but not least, the old mission.

A bit of an off the wall suggestion but if you've been to SB before or are looking for a unique, super relaxing afternoon with a great lunch and gorgeous surroundings, take an Uber up to San Ysidro Ranch in Montecito-- about $15 each way and a quick ride.

 

It's where JFK and Jackie honeymooned. Beautiful gardens and the restaurant is superb-- worth it for their famous tortilla soup alone.

If you’re interested in wine, but not interested in travelling, there are many wineries with tasting rooms within walking distance from the pier.
