Question about that huge rocking chair in SS on the Edge...

Does anyone know if I can request that chair be removed from the suite? Takes up waaay too much room for our liking. We're looking at the '23-24 Xmas cruise around New Zealand...and it's really putting us off. Normally I would just push such things out of the way...but I doubt I could find such a spot in that stateroom.

Can't even remember having a rocking chair in my Sky Suite last time, let alone a HUGE one. So I guess it must be removable!? Unless it doesn't fit through the door anymore and was assembled in the cabin. 😄

They removed them awhile back. No more rocking chairs.

Last we saw..quite awhile ago...rockers were lined up along the Ramp in EDEN..

I can't imagine that they were a big hit when they debuted...

 

They really should update the pics...I should think Marketing would be on top of that...

Hardly surprised they didn’t work out. Had our house ‘designed’ a very expensive mistake. Looks great. Practicality nil. We’ve changed so much to make it workable.

Our only Edge cruise was in a S1 mid ship back in March 2019. Celebrity had already removed the rocking chair.
