ncl Bermuda in December

Hi,

 

We are looking at cruises out or New York in December.  We’ve done the 8 day on Royal to Florida and Bahamas and only had 2-3 days of decent weather.  For a 5 day cruise on the getaway on the 18 to Bermuda - 2 sea days and 1.5 days in Bermuda, would we be at risk for cold weather or rain and mostly being stuck inside?  Doesn’t the getaway not even have an indoor pool or hottub?

I don't think anyone on CC is going to attempt to predict the weather 3 1/2 months from now. Especially in the mid to north Atlantic. Search for historical weather sites for Bermuda. That should give you some idea of weather patterns from the past. Temperature ranges are easy to predict; storms - not so much!!

I would not do this cruise in December. I did a Canadian cruise out of NY in October and the weather was terrible 2 of the 5 days. And you are correct...the Getaway does not have an indoor pool or hot tub.

Did Bermuda out of NYC last mid-December 2021.  Bermuda weather was in the low 70's.  Travel to/from was definitely chilly.  That said, I'd do it again.

We are doing this same cruise in February, 2023 because we wanted to use up our last CN and it was so cheap.  Hopefully weather won't be too bad in Bermuda and will just enjoy the sea days indoors.
