Spa Suite on Venture - worth the upcharge?

For those who have cruised on Venture and stayed in the Penthouse Spa Suite or one of the Veranda Spa Suites, was the upcharge worth it? Please share thoughts on your experience.

There are no spa suites on the Venture.

But they are shown as an available booking option with a $3000 to $3800 per person upcharge.

On deck 7, the spa deck, there are three cabins, labelled spa-fitness-cabins.   (Looked on cruisemapper) 

 

They are right alongside the spa, not at the stern of the ship.  I would not have thought worth paying more for, unless you need to be right by the spa!

Oh my. I stand corrected. My apologies! 

 

When we did a suite tour on our trip we didn't see them. I was thinking of the lovely spa suites on the sister ships.  They have never showed on trips we were looking to book. But there they are on the deck plans.  DUH!

I spoke with the folks at the spa desk.   They have not seen anyone coming or going from the spa cabins so they may not be in use yet on the Venture.
