Captain Tore suggested that it was 2 reasons for the closure. A hydraulic leak was causing hydraulic fluid to seep into the water causing problems for the divers who are underwater during each show. The water was murky and it was difficult to see the swimmers. The murkiness was by hydraulic fluid. Everything seems to be repaired now. The Aqua80 show is now operating.

Then the hydraulic fluid leak makes perfect sense because the fluid would have damaged the filtration system. They had to fix the leak, clean the entire pool, and replace the filter elements. Thank you for the follow up. I enjoy reading your posts.

Hello everyone and good day. Well, I can describe the day in just one word. . . Hot

The forecast called for 87f, but it feels much hotter. . . Maybe 95?
I got off of the ship for a while, but only about 90 min. After that, it was time to come back. I wanted to explore around town a little and get a few more pics of the construction at Nassau Cruise Port.
I really think that Nassau Cruise Port will bring back passenger confidence to Nassau when completed. They are doing much, much more than new painting and a few lights. Nassau Cruise Port is transforming the port area from the ground up. Everything will be new when completed. The company that is doing this(GPH) has done this several times in ports worldwide, and the results are stunning.
I should be back in Jan 2023 for B2B on Anthem of the Seas, and I am looking forward to seeing more progress.

We are scheduled to leave Nassau this afternoon at 5PM to have 2 full relaxing days at sea, before when finish at Cape Liberty Cruise Port in Bayonne, NJ. I have 2 more days at sea to do more stuff!
Here are a few pics. Thanks for tuning in.

Thanks for the pier pictures.  Looking at PTZTV  , you don't think a lot is happening.

Things are a lot different from my pictures from a year ago.  I saw a least two cargo ships docked there that brought all of the containers and other supplies.

Oasis is so far from the land that when you look out the window or on the pool deck, Atlantis looks very close.  For anyone who has been here before, that's a big difference.

I hope that they are planning on running trams. 🤞

It was soooooo hot.............I stayed on board in the airconditioning!  I agree with Radio - probably closer to 95 AND probably 95% humidity. <wilt>

Do they have golf carts o trams from boat for those with difficulty walking long distance?

Yes they do. There will be a new Express Tram system being used once the construction is complete.

Based on your photos a lot of work has been since I was there beginning of September.

When I was there they didn't have a roof on the walkway yet, that area was roped off.

I had no idea the project was as big as the info/photos you provided.  Should look amazing and be much easier to walk around town too.

Good morning Radio

How did you hear the day passes at Margaritaville were sold out? We were there yesterday and it seemed so empty. We did pre purchase our passes though. We really had a great day there and would definitely go back.

We were on anthem back in April. Didn’t see ant golf carts. And is margaritaville  private beach attached to juncaroo. We had difficulty getting in and out of it

Are they showing the Steelers/Browns game onboard?   I was wondering about whether they could since it's on AmazonPrime.

Just read a comment that it's on at Playmakers on Navigator.

I can confirm that Playmakers on Oasis had the game as well.

It looked like it was next to it but we never went down there. We stayed at the pool.

Hello everyone, and good morning. Welcome to DAY 6 of "LIVE" from Oasis of the Seas.

Today is the first of two relaxing sea days going home. Oasis of the Seas woke up this morning with sunny skies with just a few clouds. The forecast calls for no rain today and temps in the mid 80s (f).

Last night after dinner, I was able to see the wonderful Aquatheater show, Aqua80. I have seen this show several times, but it does not get old. All of the songs and performances still hold up.

There are a lot of activities often scheduled for days at Sea, as well as many sales and promos going on. I may want to check out the 2 for $25 t-shirt promo going on at 10am. Many outdoor activities are also available at the pools, Flowrider, and Pickleball Court.

Casino Royale opened yesterday after Nassau, and won't close until about 3am Sunday morning. Casino Royale on Deck 4 has been "Radio Friendly" for most of the cruise, but yesterday. . .not so much. Maybe I will give her another try later today.

It appears that Hurricane Fiona may be causing some swells that are affecting the way Oasis of the Seas sails back to Cape Liberty. It is not serious, and things are fine when you're sitting down or laying down. Walking however, you can definitely feel the ship "rolling".

Here are a few pics from last night and this morning. Thanks for tuning in.

I used Resortforaday dot com, and it showed that it was sold out 3 weeks ago. Maybe some passengers may have cancelled.
