What is Royal Caribbean's policy on downgrading after final payment?

We are currently booked on Symphony of the seas in a suite guarantee, sailing in December. Final payment is due tomorrow, and we are struggling to decide if we want to stay in a suite or just do a balcony to save the money (I am in between jobs right now). The suite price we have booked is amazing, we got a great deal and now suite prices are way higher. But the balcony is $2,300 cheaper and since I am in between jobs it would be good to save that money. I was wondering if I would be able to downgrade to a balcony after final payment and get a refund for the difference if we decide we want to save the money after final payment if it takes me a while to find a new job, or if upgrading is the only option.

Hello, This is not an answer to your question. I just wanted to say that I think we are on the same cruise on Symphony.  Final payment is due tomorrow for me also. Really looking forward to being on Symphony again. 🙂🙋‍♀️🛳🏝🎉🤗.

Good luck with your decision.
