Butchart Gardens...worth a trip in early June?

Does anyone know how the gardens are in early June...I'm from the south and am just wondering if there will be lots of things in bloom at this time. I hate to go if I'm not going to see beautiful gardens....What do you think???

The Gardens are beautiful at any time of year. There will be lots of flowers in bloom in early June.

We went to the Gardens in late May a couple of years ago and it was beautiful. This place is amazing. Trust me, you will love it.

We were there last early June and there were flowers blooming. Now of course they were also in the midst of planning flowers for the summer showing but anytime that you are there, there is always some flowers growing.

Definitely go - June's a perfect month to see all the perennials in bloom. The waterfalls are amazing in the early evenings if your schedule allows. Butchart's does an amazing job all year round. June and July should be great weatherwise - pleasantly warm and no rain jackets required. (But never say never!)

As others have said, Butchart Gardens is a delight any time of year. There are several companies that will take you from Vancouver to Victoria on Vancouver Island to see the gardens. Trip takes about 12-13 hours. They have a website. The roses will be spectacular in June. Also, if it rains, there are free clear plastic umbrellas available throughout the gardens that you can use. Also a lovely restaurant that serves "High Tea".

We have been there twice, once in June and once in July, and enjoyed it both times. Victoria is a beautiful island and the Butchart Gardens is a place to see and to walk around outside. I highly recommend it.
