Apex Magic Carpet Deck Locations

Based on what I'm seeing in the app for the current Apex sailing, the Magic Carpet resides on deck 14 on port days (with exception to tender port days) and deck 16 on sea days, with some stops on deck 5 for dinner. Is this right?

The Magic is primarily on Deck 14.    In 14 days it moved to deck 5 three times and never to deck 2.  We had no ports requiring tendering.

Gotcha, so never on deck 16?

Never say never, but there's little reason for it to be on 16.  The Retreat is well forward, and only the track and some pool chairs are in the vicinity.

I should clarify why I presumed it's on deck 16 during the day on sea days. This is from the celebrity app for the current Apex sailing. Days 2, 3, 8, and 12 are all sea days for the current itinerary.

My experience (Edge Only) is that it is parked on 14 most of the time adjacent to where the cabana's are.   It was original envisioned that they would have dinner on it but due to aerodynamics  the winds were too high and they usually only serve drinks there. This of course could have changed.

 

I have seen them bring it down to Deck 5 on a port day or late departure and have a special seafood dinner  with an entrance to it from Raw  on 5.

 

On tender days they brought it down to Deck 2 and used the Destination Gateway to facilitate tendering.

Just off the apex and the Magic Carpet stayed on Deck 14 the whole time, never moved.

So anyway, here's a couple of pics of the Magic Carpet on deck 16 where it was for a couple of days on our Edge cruise, it of course has its own bar and the views are fantastic. I assume Apex can do the same.
