Oceania Marina Connecting Verandah question

We are planning a multi-generation transatlantic trip in 2023.  The question is, does Oceania open up the connecting verandahs if requested by the passengers?  We have done this on other cruise lines, but the Oceania rep said he doesn't think it's allowed.  Does anyone have any experience with this?

 

Thanks in advance.  I've been searching the forum  but no luck so far.

On our last cruise (on Nautica Aug15th) I noticed that the doors between our neighbouring stateroom and the next one were opened . Two families.

 

There's no harm in asking
