There was a little bit of a sinister vibe/insinuation.

Take it however you'd like...not how it was meant at all.  Just a fact...people in your hall see you go in your room all day long - hope that's not discomforting.

Thank you for your great review!!!....My wife and I will be joining the Allure on the 10/15 sailing (next 8 days, same itinerary). Not sure whether you still have a copy of the Showtimes At A Glance - if you do, can you please post a picture, that would be fantastic.

Hope the seas had claimed down somewhat. Thank you.

Oh I know that, I think if I overheard someone's room number, I'd not try to remember that number and id still never say "oh hey btw I know your room number and you should be careful" to that person

You can see them on your app if you load this cruise date.  You need to do it soon since the cruise is ending soon and afterwards you won't be able to see them anymore.

To do it open your app, click on the calendar icon at the top center,  scroll to the bottom and click Change ship/dates, scroll to bottom click Browse our ships, pick Allure, select October 9.  Once there click Daily Planner.

Thank you for the tips - I thought I can only view the daily planner for cruises under my reservation.

You are welcome.   It's not easy to find when you are not aware that the option is there.  Remember that after today this week's cruise will disappear.   We are also cruising Allure 10/15.  I made a spreadsheet of the shows so we can get an idea what we want to reserve when we board.  Maybe we will meet!  Happy cruisin.

Some final pictures! Sorry the review wasn't super detailed but the internet was bad. Hopefully starlink is better

all in all, a great cruise. Biggest complaint I have is the size and quality of the buffet.   Given my other experiences on NCL, Royal needs to up their game here. I also thought the drink quality and bar service were lacking. There could have been a few more daytime activities as well. Maybe it was just this itinerary though, since we had a bit of bad weather. Everything else was great and allure is a pretty ship! Casino was generous, taking home 800.00 profit 😀🍾

We saw Mama Mia last night and it was great

just realized I forgot to buy a tshirt...oh well, just need to go on this ship again!

This boardwalk area looks different than I'd remembered...  are the carousel and the hotdog stands missing now?   I remembered it being a bit more full & carnival-esque and vibrant...

???

The carousel is in middle of the picture. It’s got the blue and white top on it. The hot dog stand is off to the left. The picture was taken from the walkway into the boardwalk area, so the hot dog stand is obscured.

I was also on this sailing. Agree with all of your key critiques. The Casino bar service was off, they are usually the “A” Game bartenders, remembering everyone’s drinks and names, and here - even with regular visits - you were just another face.  This is the only time I’ve had a casino bar like this in all of my sailings.  Made in the Pub was my favorite bartender for the week. The casino was not as lucky for me, we actually gambled considerably less due to that.

Agreed on activities lacking. With the activities, it seemed that in Curaçao they had trivia hourly - but on the sea day it was every 4 hours. The only thing that I could figure is that maybe a lot of the staff is being used up for the parades and other sea day events using a lot of staff.

Definitely agree on the buffets as well. The breakfast & lunch buffets seems to have no variety whatsoever from day to day.  The saving grace on Oasis class is the multiple complimentary dining offerings, but definitely noticed more when I sail the smaller ships.

Was on this sailing as well.

We ate in the windjammer on 5 nights out of the 8. I'm not picky at all and always found something to eat but my wife while not picky doesn't have a pallette like mine and on about 3 of those nights couldn't find much to her liking.

They also took out 2 production shows since we were last on.

Since you have to wait until you board to book shows I have a suggestion. If you want to see an adult comedy show in the comedy place book those first. I didn't and they were booked solid for the week very fast according to the app.

I am interested in your spreadsheet of the shows.  My wife and I will be on Allure 10/15 also.  If you don't want to do that, I am totally fine with that, just wondering if you are open to share it...

One thing I don't like is the staff members asking for room numbers for things instead of swiping for cards. Even at the beginning of the cruise I thought it was weird but I'm definitely peeved about it now

last night in the casino, I was playing a slot machine and the man next to me was politely chatting. I'm too nice of a person so just be like "leave me alone" but I decided at this point to just go to bed. So I said "ok well I'm going to bed, have a good night"  and the guy said to me "you know, you shouldn't give our your room number to people. I overheard your room number and now I know what room you are in and I'm a nice guy but some guys aren't."

idk this really spooked me, so I'm going to just walk around with a piece of paper with my room number on it to show staff members and basically run for the hills if I see this man again

That is really a great idea & will recommend to my daughter. If I may give some old lady advice to young women, always listen to your gut, if something feels weird, do what you need to get out of the situation, don’t be embarrassed to not get in an elevator or jump off when you see people, don’t be afraid to ask ship personnel for an escort to your room. Have a great cruise, you are in my favorite ship!

I basically just listed the 3 main shows so it would help us plan our specialty restaurants around them.  I hope you can read it.  I just snapped a pic off the iPad.

Thank you so much for your review!

We're sailing on Allure in February - our 1st on a ship this size.

I must ask - what was that pink looking drink in your first pic? 😋

It was a lavender daiquiri at schooner, probably my fav Royal Caribbean drink. Unfortunately they couldn't make it at casino bar so I just indulged the once

Because I had prime, I was trying to save money and just get drinks at the casino bar. The solarium bartenders looked great from my observation from my chair!

I noticed one casino bar staff start to make a drink, stop midway and tell his coworker to finish the drink. So I think "oh, he must be going on break or something" nope, he just stood there watching his coworker make the drink while many other people at the bar were waiting for drinks. This particular guy did this several times throughout the cruise, I couldn't understand it. Almost everyone was tipping extra cash and their jar was always full, so I just think there's no excuses for this sort of service we had this week at that bar. We all donate generously for prime!

also, thinking back on the activities, it seemed like not much during the day then JAM PACKED at night to the point there was no way you could do everything, even if you spaced out shows or tried to catch things later on in the week
