Cruise is in six days..how close in can the second guest be changed?

Hi-There is a SLIGHT possibility my husband won't be able to cruise.

He has been suffering from severe cough for weeks now. NOT COVID.

He has chronic bronchitis, and he doesn't wan to be coughing and coughing and people onboard thinks he has covid.

Or be sent to medical for test etc.

So, he is thinking that he may not go.I have no issue cruising solo, but if I can find someone to go in his place, how close in am I able to change the reservation?

There is a deadline- it's more than 24 hours before sailing, the exact time frame varies a bit- it depends on when Royal Caribbean sends the manifest to the government. But like 3 days before sailing is likely fine, it will take a lot of work to do a name change after that. It can be done, just takes work!

My understanding is that the manifest has to be submitted 48 hours before departure. I wouldn't try to cut it that close but you might be able to get away with it.

Was gonna say 48 hours.  Don't think it's less.  Might be more.
