Hubby and I just booked this same cruise but for next November. So, I’m reading your blog and trying to take it all in!

Congratulations. Compared to the one we are on, you pick up an extra port (Malaga, Spain) and an extra night (16 v 15).

We originally had the Nov 2023 Constellation sailing booked. When our Dec 2022 Asia sailing (Solstice) was cancelled by Celebrity earlier this year and rebooked for next year, it left us with no cruise for this year. So we cancelled the 2023 TA and booked this one.

The seas are a little rough today and the Internet connection intermittent. Here’s a continuation of our tour in Murcia:

Our mini bus then took us to downtown Murcia. Here are some photos.

There was some type of large gathering for young kids in one of the city plazas. It looked fun for them, but it made it difficult to hear our guide.

Our final stop was Cartagena itself. Everything that we toured was within easy walking distance of the ship.

The tour included a view of an ancient Roman theater that was discovered in three 1990’s. We broke from the tour to go to the museum and the theater itself (6 Euros pp).

Melinda Bates is on board as one of the enrichment speakers. Once she found out that she was assigned to our sailing, she has been participating in our roll call under screen name @BajagirlMB

She gave her first presentation yesterday morning (our first sea day) at 10am are the Celebrity Theater.

I think she will be giving 9 presentations in all. Yesterday’s presentation was an introductory one about herself, how she met Bill Clinton when they were attending Georgetown, how she landed her White House position, and some of her experiences.

Her talk was well attended yesterday.

She is an excellent public speaker and she is very proud of the work that she did.

But she is very humorous and likes to make fun of herself.

Your excursions on this trip look amazing.  Enjoy the trip.

well I’m officially sea sick today.

Sorry to hear.   I understand they have sea sick pills at guest service.   If you want a more natural remedy  - Ginger is suppose to help (ginger ale also seems to work).  I believe they still sell that pressure point bands in the gift shops.

Or green apples.   Also saltines seem to help some people.   They had both at the front desk on Azamara when seas were rough.

I always have those sea bands with me.😤
