Celebrity ship insurance

So what happens if you get Covid on the ship, lets say 3 days till you disembark   How does the cruise insurance kick in and help?

When is the cruise?  Makes a difference.

 

For current cruises, you receive a prorated refund for your days in quarantine.

The above is true I believe through Nov. After that, any health reimbursement will be covered by the terms of the insurance policy, and covid related losses will be treated the same as any other illness.

Pro-rata quarantine refund is covered for sailings through 30 April 2023.

Are you asking about travel insurance or are you asking about Celebrity’s COVID policy? They are two separate things.

I am not saying this is true for all insurance just what I was told by my insurance.  Insurance wanted a doctor’s note.  Celebrity accepted a pharmacy test result.  We have refund from Celebrity for cruise fare but not everything yet a few weeks later.  Ex excursions, dinners, etc

The OP asked about testing positive on board.  He obviously has a physician's report.  If he incurred other expenses regarding his cruise they would be reimbursed according to CC reports in about 6-8 weeks.

He did not mention having any expenses.

I do not speak for OP.  I speak for myself?  Seeing as I used Celebrity insurance, I thought it might be useful to share my experience.
