MSPCUBS Posted October 22, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 22, 2022 I have been reading that the seas going to the north can be rough. Does it make more sense to book a starboard cabin than a port? Thank you for your advice
CruiserBruce Posted October 22, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 22, 2022 Doesn't matter in the least. You will be too far off shore the vast majority of the time.
jcc1025 Posted October 25, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 25, 2022 Depending on which cabin class you are in the RCCL ship docks with port toward town and I believe Carnival has starbord toward shore so you see the dock and if your a people watcher, or sea lion watcher as a group of them are usually to the front of the RCCL ship on the shore. Ships can dock with either side to the dock,,depending on the needs of the ship that day. There is no "always" rule on docking.

Its a very small harbor and while they could reverse we have not seen it, will be back in three weeks and will see what happens.
ATSEAMYLIFE Posted November 2, 2022 #6 Share Posted November 2, 2022 Not worth worrying about, it's not much different.
