Linking multiple reservations (Family Cruise)

Just spent 20 mins with google and CC searches, but I'm coming up empty.

I've booked 4 cabins for DW and myself, and all 3 of our kids and their spouses and kids. 14 of us all together.   I remember reading that you could link reservations, but I cannot find out anything about this. What does this actually mean? Does it mean that we will have all 14 of us booked together in the MDR at dinner?  I see we can chat in the app. What other benefits are found with linking reservations?

And.. where do I do this? I cannot find anything in the app or the website that leads to linking.

thx in advance!

We have a similar situation.  We have a family cruise that includes three cabins.  Below are screenshots from my cruise planner.

At the top left you will see a link to add another cruise.

Clicking that link will bring you to this page.

Fill in the pertinent info for each reservation you want to link and it will be added to your cruise planner and look like this.

I hope this helps.

If you have MTD there is no need to link dining.

Linking reservations is only useful to get you seated at the same table when you have early or late dining.  With MTD they don't save you a table until you show up and tell them how many are in your party.
