More Bliss questions.

New to NCL line and Bliss. I was watching a YouTube video from a travel agent showing the Bliss and I have a couple questions.
What shows have a charge?
Does the water tubes have a charge?
Does the Local Bar & Grill have an a-la-carte charge?
Does Teppanyaki have an a-la-carte charge?
What is the difference between a balcony and a club balcony room?
What times do the shows start?
Is there a charge for the Salt room at the spa?
Are any parts of the spa free?

I'm sure I'll have more questions.

We were on Bliss in 2018, and will be sailing on her again in November.  I'll have a go at some of your questions...anybody else chime in if things have changed recently. Shows in the theater, comedy club, and music venues are free (just get there early for best seating choices. Water slides are free. Local bar and grill are free ( except ice cream sundaes). Teppanyaki is a specialty restaurant,  use your specialty dining credit, or pay a la carte. Don't know the difference in the cabins, we usually pick a standard balcony. Shows start around 7ish. Spa I have no idea as I've never used it. Hope that helps!

What shows have a charge?  I don't believe any shows on BLISS have a charge
Does the water tubes have a charge? NO
Does the Local Bar & Grill have an a-la-carte charge? Shouldn't be a problem!
Does Teppanyaki have an a-la-carte charge?  FLAT FEE (Part of the Free-at-Sea Package if you wish to use a Dining Credit there.
What is the difference between a balcony and a club balcony room? A Balcony room is slightly smaller than a CLUB BALCONY (which has a larger bathroom).  Also, Club Balconies receive some perks that are not offered in Balconies!
What times do the shows start?  Varies... Once onboard use the NCL APP, Use a screen near Elevators, or go to Box Office to book what is available!
Is there a charge for the Salt room at the spa?  You need to purchase a SPA Pass to access the Salt Room!
Are any parts of the spa free? You may visit on Embarkation Day to tour the facilities at no charge.
You can find many answers to your questions by opening this link. Note: Search (CLICK on) the subjects listed under the picture of the Bliss!!!

What shows have a charge?  All of the main shows are complimentary.
Does the water tubes have a charge?  NO the waterpark is free
Does the Local Bar & Grill have an a-la-carte charge?  No you can eat all you want
Does Teppanyaki have an a-la-carte charge? Yes unless you have the dining package
What is the difference between a balcony and a club balcony room? I don't know that one.
What times do the shows start? You can book all of this on your my ncl account online and see the times before you cruise, this is the easiest way to do that, you can also book your dining reservations for the specialty restaurants, the main dining rooms don't require a reservation, nor does the buffet you just show up when they're open.
Is there a charge for the Salt room at the spa?  There's a charge for everything at the spa lol
Are any parts of the spa free? see above

I'm sure I'll have more questions. Fire away, I was last on the Bliss in Alaska pre covid so it's been awhile...

I will be boarding the Bliss this Sunday !!  Be sure to make reservations for shows (if that is a priority, and it should be as they have two great ones plus comedy, etc) as soon as you board..they have not been available to book pre cruise.

Bliss has one of the nicer thermal suites (IMO) so if you’ve been thinking about a spa package that includes the salt room, then make reservations as soon as possible because it can sell out.

Do you have to make reservations for the "Speak-easy" show or is it first come first serve?

Is there a sauna for free use or do I need a day pass etc to use the facilities (outside of just the normal gym) ETA, have no desire to use salt room or the heated chairs, just looking for a sauna.

I don't believe "Prohibition The Musical" is available any longer on the Bliss!

There is no place referred to as "The Speak Easy" (Except when Prohibition WAS on Bliss).

However, you probably would need to make reservations onboard for other shows in the Bliss Theater, &/or, at Social Comedy and Night Club.  You can get more information by logging into you account, selecting your cruise, and look for EXPLORE and PLAN.  Then scroll down and search on the left-hand side for Onboard Entertainment, Activities & Casino.

Disregard the question about the steam room. I now have that answer.

Thanks! Yeah, it's been frustrating watching old reviews of Bliss and they mention items\shows that are no longer on the ship.

Thanks for the reply!

If SIX is still on the Bliss - it's a MUST SEE!!!!  I still listen to the music all the time and just loved it.

God, I hope it’s still on….it’s the main reason I am boarding this Sunday.  Yep, I love the shows that much.  Some pick cruise lines depending on wether they serve Coke or Pepsi products, so don’t judge me. 😜

OR you can book a Spa Room and access to all spa amenities are included for the duration of the cruise.  There are interior, balcony, and suite options.

From their website “Thermal Suite with a steam or a dip in the Vitality Pool. Within these tranquil walls, experience the Salt Room, a dramatic grotto surrounded with layers of body-cleansing salt crystals.”

SIX was wonderful. We lined up early and got great seats on the Breakaway in August. When we returned, we check med and a similar seat to the Broadway show would cost $350 each.

Going on the bliss for our first time in December. We booked the spa and wanted to know if the Hot tubs etc. have salt water or chlorine?

When you get on the ship where do you go to make restaurant reservations? Show reservations?

All Thermal Suite pools and hot tub is fresh water.

First go to The Social, Deck 6 mid-ship and make entertainment reservations (Jersey Boys, SIX, Comedy Shows (early shows family oriented, late shows 18+), Canvas by U Painting). Then go across the hall to Teppanyaki to make/fix dining reservations).
