MyTMo777 Posted October 26, 2022 #1 Share Posted October 26, 2022 The new water bottles on NCL look like oddly-shaped cartons, not round like a regular water bottle. My backpack I take on excursions has two small mesh pockets that barely fit a standard plastic one-use water bottle. Does anyone know if the new cartons will fit like a round water bottle? Trying to find small reusable bottles that I can bring but not having much luck with that size.
BoatParts Posted October 26, 2022 #2 Share Posted October 26, 2022 They come in .5 & 1 liter sizes. I’d think the small one would fit for sure. The large may depending how tall your mesh is.
ggTexasGal Posted October 26, 2022 #3 Share Posted October 26, 2022 Oddly, we found some of these at DSW Shoes. We LOVE them! Many different types can be found on Amazon, also.
MyTMo777 Posted October 26, 2022 Author #4 Share Posted October 26, 2022 I've been looking on Amazon but hesitant to order because no one includes the diameter in the description. I tried every reusable water bottle in my house and none of them fit. I'm bringing a bigger water bottle for on the ship, but for excursions, I was hoping to find a smaller one that kept the water colder than the usual pre-packaged ones. But if I can't, I know we get some free water in our room due to our Latitudes reward tier, so hopefully they will work for excursions.
CPRayVA Posted October 26, 2022 #5 Share Posted October 26, 2022 Take an empty water bottle that fits and fill it with their water. They have never taken it away from me.

Rare mking8288 Posted October 26, 2022 #7 Share Posted October 26, 2022 They are 500 ml or 16.9 oz. - tall & slim, should fit many pouches & pockets used for EDC, like daypacks and backpacks, etc.
Rare Sailing12Away Posted October 27, 2022 #8 Share Posted October 27, 2022 We have this travel backpack that we bring on excursions. The boxes of water fit into the side mesh pockets of this bag with no issue. Big vs small boxes are the same width, one is just taller. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N1LMZI9/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Rare smillerholmes Posted October 27, 2022 #10 Share Posted October 27, 2022 I will second the vote for collapsible water bottles; so convenient. They take up very little space once empty and you can refill practically anywhere. Rare Travelicious Posted October 27, 2022 #11 Share Posted October 27, 2022 Have you looked at Hydro Flask? They keep liquids cold longer, and do not sweat. They fit in my mesh holders. Don't know about yours.
