went to see the pg version of Jerome.  Great room and a really funny show.  Got some good news on the home front, after 5 weeks, we have electricity.  Texted my AC guy to get on the list for  next week.  Things are looking up.

We had not been on the Magic for some time (both of our sailings on her were out of Galveston).  We found the ship to be in very good shape.  A couple of things here or there but overall quite remarkable.  Originally we were supposed to do a back to back with the 8 day that followed, that died long before Ian alter erd our lives for the foreseeable future.  Would have loved to stay on.

When we boarded, it went super fast, probably because she was empty (at least I think she was) on the trip down from Norfolk.  Our Cabin Steward, Lido was very good albeit we did see. Him all that much.

We usually opt in for specialty cabins, but this sailing for several reasons had selected a “regular” balcony cabin.  We were on lido with cabin 10290, very first cabin qhwn you walk in from the main pool and turn left and go thru the unmarked door.  So on omne side of out balcony we had a jut out wall and the next cabin on the other side.

I felt the dining team was the most “in Sync” we have seen in a long long time.  They clearly interacted well with each other. During their serving and entertaining.  One interesting fact, we never saw the captain.  We did enjoy Joey as a CD, we was out and about all the time and really interacted constantly with clients and the resemblance to Matt was more than just the accent.

Overall, we had a much needed cruise.that was both relaxing and FUN.  Thanks for following along.

Next up for us will be a cruise on the Panorama in December (add another ship to our list of sailed on) with a sneak peak of the Celebration before her first sailing from Miami.  Will post from both of these as well as our cruise on the Celebration in January (15th floor aft Excel suite).
