Decided to head right and stay away from the crowds

I did have a beer in my hands when I took the pick of my toes and the water.

After 3 hours it was time for us to head back.

Spirit looking pretty good, been a long time since we sailed on her for two Alaskan cruises.

Back on board we sat out on our balcony after visiting the aft pool.  Nice breeze and very relaxing.

After a shower wife talked me into going to Diamond Plat reception.  Should have passed, while video is still good, seeing the bar staff being mauled for free drinks disturbs me.  Some pics after of the ship

Went down to oceans plaza  for a drink and to listen to the music before dinner.

After they gave the all clear to go ashore we waited about a half hour and decided to head down and out. We got all the way to the stairway to deck zero when Joey the cruise Director came on and said they had to pause because the spirit was pulling in. That pause was 40 minutes totally ridiculous and could’ve been prevented 100%. I will make sure that my feelings on this get known at the proper time and place. 

We have gotten "caught" in a pause when another ship was docking also.  What a pain.  They could have easily made an announcement telling you to "get off now" or you will be stuck for a while.  Also - looks like they put in railings along dock walkway to the port. They weren't there in June when we went.  Guess one person too many took an early swim!

Just the drinks but it smelled  good
