it was removed for to help control alcohol consumption as per John Heald. There had been an uptick in problems associated with over consumption. Had nothing to do with $. John said it actually made money.

john says many things that are not true, Of course they made money, but make more money with people buying individually.

It's interesting that they are concerned with over consumption, yet if you are on an Elite cruise, they will still give you two bottles of alcohol in the room in addition to drinks everywhere on the ship for you and a guest.  Maybe they assume all gamblers can handle their liquor better than non-gamblers?🤔

Au contraire, the drunker (more drunk?) a casino guest is the better Carnival does.

But remember, John Heald said ending bottles of liquor and mixes for the room is not about making more money, it's all about preventing over consumption.  So, they wouldn't be giving more liquor to casino guests just so the casino can make more money.  That would just contradict what he said, wouldn't it? 🤔
