Dinner in Panorama (MDR):

Everything in these pictures was very good and I can really recommend the Lamb!  DS loved the meatloaf.

Since there was a comedian in lieu of a show, we skipped it to spend time in the pub. Craig from South Africa does an amazing job here and we will be back any chance we get!

I tried the Cherry Orchard, which was very good - definitely one I will have again at some point.

I went for an early morning walk to see if I could catch the sunrise.  Unfortunately, dark clouds were all around the horizon, which set course for quite hefty rain showers on and off during the day.

Thank you so much for all of the wonderful photos and videos.  I am so lucky to have made Meraviglia a part time second home of late!

Thank you for stopping by - at least virtually!  Always fun to see you around CC!  Maybe we will be on the same ship one of these days.  🙂

A few views of breakfast in the Marketplace Buffet:

They do have smoked salmon some mornings.  They also have a variety of fresh pastries that are addictive.  Otherwise, they have the normal breakfast fare with lots of options for fruit, yogurt, different kinds of egg, and DH’s favorite Muesli.

Brilliance of the Seas showed up a little later:

TIP: If you look in the foreground in this picture, you can see plenty of outdoor tables and chairs.  If you don’t mind walking up some stairs with your plates, this is another great spot to eat outdoors.  This seating is by the Horizon Bar.

TIP: If you plan on taking formal night pictures, be sure to get ready at least by 5:15 PM.  We saw long lines by some of the most popular spots.  We just brought our own tripod and took some pictures long before the professionals set up.

Thanksgiving Dinner:

DS says the bacon-wrapped shrimp was his favorite ever.  I mean, how can you go wrong with bacon and shrimp? 😉

The ravioli was one of my favorite meals at sea.  I should have ordered a double portion this time, because it was truly ‘too small’ of a portion this time.  TIP:  So, I do recommend ordering a double portion since it only included 5 pieces of ravioli.

If you have not figured it out by now, we did not get off in Costa Maya.  We saw many return to the ship soaking wet.   Although I don’t mind the rain at all, the ship won out when we saw the weather.  We have been to Costa Maya plenty of times and just missed ship life too much to get off here.

After dinner, we enjoyed another evening in the Broadway Theater.  The sound balance was off, with some singers’ mics way too soft to make the harmonies blend.  Overall, it was enjoyable but not near as good as the show-stopping Born to Rock.  Also, no live band today.

True! Not on your photo, but at least here in Europe they also have some cold cereals among them some wonderful chocolate crispies that are somewhat addictive as well!...

You posted a picture of the power plugs in your room--thank you! I now know which plug adapter I need to buy for our cruise next Fall. But I'm wondering if there is a need for a power converter. If so, when would something like that be needed?

When I was looking at adapters on Amazon, many of them say that they're not power voltage converters. Here's an example:

"This is NOT A CONVERTER. This plug adapter is only compatible for 110V-250V wide voltage device, If you want to use your hair dryer, straightener, electric toothbrush or razor, they MUST support 110V-250V Dual Voltage, otherwise you may need a power voltage converter."

I feel a bit dumb that I can't figure this out, so any help you (or anyone else) can give me would be great. Thanks!

@CTGirl74You don’t need any converters or even other power plugs.  They have 2 US outlets.  The only time you will need anything additional is if you need to plug in more than 2 devices.  I had that other plug from my travels to South Africa, so I use it as 2 extra USB plugs only.  I will post a picture later of something that may be useful if you need more than 2 US outlets
