Rare CruiserFromMaine Posted November 21, 2022 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2022 I am one of the lucky ones to get an offer from the Blue Chip Club for a free cruise. Well, free except port taxes, getting there and back, etc. I wanted to make sure my Captain’s a club benefits, like the Happy Hour adult beverages, free bag of laundry, etc. are still in force on board even though the cruise was comped by the Blue Chip offer. Thanks!
dazey Posted November 21, 2022 #2 Share Posted November 21, 2022 Yes. Your Captain's Club benefits remain the same whether you are comped or pay full price. Have had the pleasure of a "free" Blue Chip offer which as you say is really not totally free(at least at my level). Sometimes I ask Blue Chip for a Net20 offer and that works well if a comped is not available.

kathynorth Posted November 21, 2022 #4 Share Posted November 21, 2022 Yes, your Captains Club perks stay. You are treated like any other paying cruiser. You even get points based on level of cabin.
Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted November 21, 2022 #5 Share Posted November 21, 2022 Yes, another tip is since the internet isn’t included except for super high rollers, see if you can use your CC/BCC minutes for the first few day and purchase the internet mid sailing. It’s broken down by night if you can wait for the morning of day 3, you’ll only pay the prorated amount and save 2 nights
Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted November 21, 2022 #6 Share Posted November 21, 2022 One more internet tip, if you’re one is going with a significant other and you both want the internet, it’s cheaper to buy one person two devices.
