Flying into Orlando

So I booked another cruise for next year leaving out of Port canaveral. We normally drive to Florida and it is about a 11 hour drive from our city. We are considering flying this time because the drive is just too tiring. This would be our first time flying to Orlando so if we fly into Orlando what are the options for transportation  from Orlando to the port? If we did uber or lyft what should we expect for cost for a family of four? Any suggestions for flying to the port?

Uber is Approximately $85 for xl each way. Some people rent a car and drop off in canaveral as well.

We fly in a day early and have used a car service to get from the airport to a hotel near the cruise port.  It’s approximately an hours drive, depending on traffic.

The one time we did a family cruise, prior to COVID, our daughter her husband and two youngest, and our son, his wife and their son,  I got hotel rooms for all of us near the airport and had a car service take us all to the cruise port the next day.

We've used a shuttle service from MCO. Our choice was Cruise Control for round trip and it worked out great !!

We just reserved with them for spring break. Corey gave us the best rate and passed along some tips since he just got off the ship we are scheduled to travel on.

We did the car rental from Avis a few weeks ago.  It's not cheaper than getting an Uber ride, but you do have the car to go out with.

Going back to MCO, the wait was going to be 45 minutes for the Avis shuttle (it filled up frequently with parties of multiple people) so we paid an Uber about $20 for the 5 minute ride and also didn't get caught in a line of people picking up cars.
