All In Sale from Royal??

Hi all,

I enjoy checking out the websites for different cruise lines to see what type of 'specials' they may be running at any given time. One thing I happen to notice is Royal never seems to offer an 'all in or 3 perks included" package type of option. It seems most other lines have some type of offering, eg: drinks, wi'fi,  gratuities, or shore excursion, free dining, etc. DH and I like to crunch the numbers and find 'usually' it works out better for us financially to take advantage of these specials when offered, but we've never been able to find one from Royal. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just not seeing it?

We've enjoyed the specials on other lines we've sailed and keep hoping someday we'll see something similar on Royal's page but so far, no luck.

If you want that kind of offering book an expensive cabin with a TA - some give you those kinds of things in their perks.

Be glad you can sometimes get a combo drink/Voom package.

In my experience Royal is the worst for deals. I've even had TAs tell me they've rarely seen anything "special" from Royal. I keep hoping too, but even in the middle of the current holiday "sale" season, all I've seen are empty sales pitches.

Ncl and celebrity include more extras and also cost more. Please dont wish this on rcl. I like having a lower price where I'm not paying for extras for a 2nd person. As a solo those deals arent that good.

Thanks ...there are other lines for what you want. They dont have to be all alike.

This can be true but not always. Sometimes a "special" really is special. My last cruise on Celebrity (booked thru my favorite TA) originally included a "surprise" package of specials that did not inflate my total cost.  I say "originally" because I covid-cancelled that one, rebooked later with the FCCs and managed to keep the full package, which included premium WiFi for 2, classic drinks package for 2, and "free" gratuities. My total cost for that 10-day cruise in a balcony stateroom (with "refundable deposit") was a tad over $2800.  I checked that TA's pricing sometime later for the same cruise I booked, with the same category of stateroom. The "AI" package that I paid nothing extra for was selling at a rate of $1600+ pp, while the "basic" fare that I booked under was still there. I'm sure my timing was perfect to get the package I got. But it does happen, at least on other cruise lines. I've also gotten some good deals on Carnival too -- sometimes a nice military rate, at other times something else.

I absolultely agree with you about the cost sometimes being more if more extras are offered. But it still would be nice to have the option sometimes🤣.

Also, as someone who does enjoy cruising solo as well, I agree the solo prices on Royal are not very wallet friendly at all.

We have had 'All Inclusive' promotions here in the UK with drinks packages and gratuities included.

More marketing spin than anything else though as the price in reality reflected in most cases what was included but the 'Free' tag was a good sales tactic pre covid.
