Is there a way to send a private message to another poster?

I would like to contact someone on my cruise and can't find a way to send a private message. Is that possible on these boards?

What you can do is post a request in your roll call using a disguised email address (e.g. myname at mydomain.org). The person you wish to contact can be notified by including a reference to the username. Use @ followed by the first few letters of the username then select from the list that pops up. The name will appear in a bubble, e.g. @schmerl.
