BEWARE!!!  If your suite is under the Bridge, you can not use your outside at night, your balcony door must be closed at night and your door curtain completely closed.  NO LIGHT can show from your suite.  The Bridge needs complete darkness to see.  The Bridge can also see on most if not all of the balconies.  Do not want to be out there in your bathrobe or something really skimpy.

We had one of these on dawn and all we had to do was close the curtains. We certainly could use the balcony.

And we have for this upcoming trip as  well.  Daylight Panama Canal. Should be awesome from these.

Trying to decide whether to upgrade drink package. Does Cagney’s by itself include fresh juice at breakfast?

And do they still serve French press coffee?  TIA!

Breakfast is actually at Moderno.  Lunch is at Cagney's.

Yes, fresh squeezes orange juice and French press coffee are available/included at breakfast.

I don't know about other fresh squeezes juices as we've upgrades the beverage package in the past so there was no charge for fresh apple juice.  On our last cruise,  the wife ordered fresh apple juice ans they "forgot" two days in a row before we gave up.  It usually lists a price for fresh juice (and specialty coffee) on the breakfast menu but it seems to be hit or miss as to whether they actually charge.

PA: cappuccino/espresso/lattes are available for no charge at meals on the Spirit of Hawaii.

It's not correct that you can't use your balcony at night.  What you can't do is open the balcony doors when light is on inside your suite, which would then leak out onto the balcony.  Have a small flashlight handy, keep it lowered and shaded, and go out and in carefully.

And be VERY careful, whatever the time of day, opening and closing the heavy sea door; don't let it slam on or catch your hand, fingers, etc.

Here you go.  I'm flattered you remember it!

Oh great!!

Now I'm going to have to read EVERY WORD again!

And look at every photo, too!

😁

As soon as we feel ready to travel again, this is at the top of the list.

Trouble is, it's hard to grab those forward facing cabins/suites, and in other cruise lines, many ships don't have any good ones anyway.  I can't imagine not having that view for that particular criuse!

This view you are showing is just SO amazing!

Thanks so much for all of your reports and photos!

Happy Holidays,

GC
