Casino Royale Certificate questions

So I'm kind of new to all of this so apologies if the questions are stupid. I hit Prime on my most recent cruise and I have a certificate with a bunch of different dates on them. Will I get updated ones as time goes on with a similar deal (I currently have free oceanview or balcony depending on the cruise with a $750 trade-in and $250 in free play) or is this the best one I'm going to get?

I also booked a cruise while on the ship before I realized how close I was to the freebie. Can I transfer those credits with the free room (My wife has a $500 trade-in or a free inside or oceanview, I'd want to upgrade that one).

Do I get to pick the room or am I stuck with what they give me? Thanks, I want to be somewhat knowledgeable before I make a decision.

Thanks

I booked a casino "free" cruise recently, but it was not as a prime player.  Thus, I can only answer your question on picking the cabin.

In my case, I got online and had a ships deck plan open when I called in to book the cruise.  The person I dealt with gave me the cabin numbers and I picked the one I wanted based on the location.

Not saying that is always how it works, but that was my experience about a month ago.

Hope that helps.

You may get more offers in the future, but the certificate you have likely has an expiration date on it where it loses a lot of it value. In the past most of my certificates gave you 30 days to book,  but recently several of them have only given me 7 days. You can’t apply a certicate to a cruise you already have booked. However, if you book a future cruise (no specific ship/date) during a cruise where you earned a certificate, you can apply the certificate when you convert it to an actual booking with a ship and cruse date.

So if you're still onboard your cruise, you need to take your certificate to Next Cruise and book.  If you haven't decided, then you tell Next Cruise and they do something to that you have seven days to book.

Doing the above is the ONLY way you are entitled to the free play in the offer.  I learned the hard way.  I didn't visit Next Cruise while on board, so lost $500 free play that was attached to each of my certificates for each of my last two sailings.  Each has $1,000 trade-in value, but I'll probably throw them away.  That's because at the website noted above, I get offers regularly.  And as a solo traveler, $1,000 doesn't go far or help much for the rooms that I otherwise am offered for free at the site.

I'm not sure if you can trade-in your certificate to upgrade the current booking you said you made on board.  You can ask... but the reps on the phone are offshore workers who are trained very methodically.  Be careful that they do not cancel and rebook, as this would knock out any Next Cruise OBC incentives you earned for booking.

Again, depending upon your casino play, you may find offers regularly.
