Liars club last night. We gotta talk about this but I was a little ummmm, sleepy, last night to talk about it.

 

The three panelists were the two new comedians who came onboard and the entertainment director, Calvin. 

 

The two comedians went first and were pretty funny.

 

Then we got to Calvin. I've sailed with him a number of times and seen him on John Heald's videos before. Never been a fan, he seems kinda just blah which is fine ED is not a guest facing role so makes sense for him to do that instead of CD.

 

Holy cow, he was FREAKING HILARIOUS. I honestly don't think I have ever laughed so hard and cried so many tears of laughter in my entire life. He had the entire audience roaring. 

 

The professionals didn't stand a chance next to Calvin and quickly switched from comic to straight man to Calvin's antics. 

 

I can just imagine him and John performing together, what a riot that must have been.

 

Absolutely do not miss this show if Calvin will be in it. Best laugh you will ever have I promise.

Dinner at rudi's last night was very good. 

 

Fried shrimp compliments of the chef.

Very good again. 

 

Lobster Mac and cheese. 

 

 

Not large chunks but I did get lobster in almost every bite and the cheese sauce was amazing.

Dover sole and a side of Brussel sprouts. 

 

 

 

The fish was very good. I'm not sure when I started liking Brussel sprouts but those were good too.

 

Key lime pie.

 

 

So so good. I enjoyed the cheesecake last week but this was hands down my favorite. One of the best desserts I've ever had.

App was updated to say street eats would be open from 2-4. I guess that's why the signing goes up everyday, they must open for a small window when they can. Wish I had been paying attention for that.

I haven't priced O in a while but we are talking 2-2.5k pp for 7 days and regent wants double that. That is way way more than I could drop for a week even if the experience may be worth it.

Splitting my gym time I to two sessions so u can make the Christmas shows.

 

Here 40 minutes early and there is plenty of seating but none left that qualify as comfortable and good view. I found a decently comfy spot in the corner that will do.

Went a little out of my way and got my bloody mary from the casino bar to avoid tropicale bar.

 

I wanted to try some new drinks this week but I'm getting tired of sweet drinks and I'm too much of a lightweight to handle tasting the alcohol.

That's what it seems like. I guess it's been opening for a small window each day and I never thought to go check back because the signing has been updated each day when I stopped by to try something. 

 

I'll keep an eye on it on the sea days. As of right now it's not listed as open either of the next two sea days.

I still need to post my dinner from earlier this week at chibang bit here is a spoiler: do not order the Mexican.

 

It was all the worse Mexican food I've ever eaten. 

 

I'm going back to the Asian menu tonight.

At the Christmas show tonight they brought a number of crew onto the stage while the playlist cast sang silent night and it suddenly hit me right in the feels the sacrifice these folks are making thousands of miles from their families during the holidays. 

 

Then my allergies started acting up 😭
