garycarla Posted December 4, 2022 #1 Share Posted December 4, 2022 Looking to do a casino trip on Carnival but not finding any junket operators. Any suggestions? Thanks $50 on Red!
kwokpot Posted December 4, 2022 #2 Share Posted December 4, 2022 Carnival doesn't seem to work with independent Junket operators. They do work with some of the land based casino companies whereby they issue free cruise certificates as promos, but no explicit tie-ins with major casino companies like Royal/Celebrity with MGM. The most popular independent junket company is URCOMPED.COM, but they don't work with Carnival.
Rare NutsAboutGolf Posted December 4, 2022 #3 Share Posted December 4, 2022 Book and pay for a short cheap cruise and play a lot. In my experience carnival has lower gambling requirements than other lines

The casino is very crowded on Carnival when they have the Elite/Premier casino cruise promotions with a preponderance of gamblers.

Very true. Pick an older ship for a three or four night cruise and you are more likely to be noticed by the casino staff. On a recent Mardi Gras cruise I had over 16,000 points. Got a steakhouse dinner for two. On other ships, I would have gotten that plus a spa treatment.
garycarla Posted December 5, 2022 Author #6 Share Posted December 5, 2022 Actually - I am looking at a 4-5 night out of New Orleans. In the past, I was rated high on NCL and got free rooms and always avoided special event casino cruises as I knew the casino would be full then. ejnsb Posted December 5, 2022 #7 Share Posted December 5, 2022 Agree with fellow posters. A few years back we did a short cruise and have been getting offers since. Currently have a transatlantic booked for taxes and port fees. I also work with urcomped and have sailed Royal and Celebrity through them

I was never a huge gambler but I do play some every night. Been getting free cabins w/drinks while playing for the past year. B2B on Valor this summer, both wife and I played often. Got free drinks at dinner and family/3 got Steakhouse selections/MDR comped. Totally unexpected, imagine I was rated higher than most cruisers those 10 days. Free cabin on Celebration for us 12/19 8 day Christmas cruise. Book Valor or Glory if you’re looking and I’d imagine you’d quickly be getting decent casino offers. The more you cruise and play, the better the offers. I had free cabins offered for Australia w/ $1500AU OBC and 23 night repositioning cruise via Hawaii/Fiji. We stopped gambling with NCL because of their stupid administration fees for comped cruises which added another $250-300 to the Port fees and taxes. No other cruiseline does that. In fact MSC doesn't even charge Port fees and taxes on their comped cruises, so totally free (deposit is asked for which is returned as OBC)
