Formal nights

We are doing our first 3 night on Independence.  Are there typically formal nights on the shorter cruises?

It is called Dress Your Best.  We don't get formal on short ones.  I wear a sundress and husband wears a button up silk shirt and slacks.

Or do as i do and make every night casual night. I do wear long pants on dress your best nights

Thanks everyone!  We've done them on the longer cruises, just wasn't sure if they still had them on the 3 nights.  Happy cruising 🛳

We had a formal night on Navigator 4 nts in July.  We had both a formal and dress your best on 7 nts on Wonder in November.  Funny thing was the description of formal and dress your best were the same in the compass.

for most cruise lines a formal 'requirement' is long gone

 

Cruise CUNARD and they ENFORCE dress codes

 

A few days ago I finished a Royal 8 night and  long pants and a polo shirt was as fncy as I got altho there were two 'formal optional' nites

My formal is black jeans and a button down shirt .

I wont be packing a blazer anymore.
