Best (American) hotels near BCN Airport for early morning flight

Not many hotels offer free shuttle.  I am thinking about a couple of the Marriotts (AC Marriott, Renassance) or The Hyatt, which are close to the airport, but it seems like they might each be like a 30-45 minute drive from hotel to airport (I don't undersand that???)

 

Anyway, what hotel would be great for a 8:00am departure.  Thanks!

Just make sure that the shuttle runs at 5 am

And, yes, that is as close as the hotels are  to the airport.

We stayed at The Renaissance Fira last September. For convenience, it was a good choice but the room decor was a bit too modern for our taste. They have a restaurant on site that serves an amazing breakfast- hope you can take advantage of it before you depart for the airport. They do not have a shuttle but taxis are continuously available.

So for those who have done this, which is the better place, The Renassance (which I can get Marriott Bonvoy points for staying at ) or The Hyatt?  We will probably go there right from the cruise ship and will hang out at the hotel all day. I'm thinking The Hyatt would be the better choice?  Not sure if we want to explore Barcelona that badly after the cruise, and we will be back there in 2024 for a land cruise.
