Thank you. So if I grab a cab and ask him to take me to the Princess cruise terminal, he'll know which one to go to? I only ask because I thought there was another cruise terminal that handled smaller vessels.

It's my understanding that there are two terminal locations in Barcelona? Which one does Princess use? And can anyone suggest the easiest way to get from Plaza Cataluyna to the terminal? Thank you.

This excursion in Marsailles, France was sold out for a while. Then, one day I saw the waitlist was open and jumped on it. I'm still wait listed and now it says it is sold out again. I'm wondering if they opened the waitlist because they knew they were going to be able to secure another booking? I guess I'm just wondering if people who had been wait listed previously actually were able to secure a spot. The excursion in question is: Late Riser - Aix en Provence & Marseille

Will be bringing Euros with me. But, I was only able to get big bills. I'm thinking of bringing US single dollars with me. Can we tip in Europe with US Dollars? Like if I wanted to tip say $22 dollars, can I do it in Euros and two singles? Also, I am under the assumption that only US citizens tip over in Europe. So, my other question is, why do Americans tip if other nationalities don't?

We have a tour booked for Marsailles. However, we are waitlisted for a different tour. If openings become available, will our first tour that is booked actually be cancelled automatically, or will we have the option of choosing between what we are already booked on and then accept (and pay more) for the waitlist opportunity one? Thanks.

Most of the excursions in Marsailles have been sold out for quite a while, while this tour (on Princess for $79) seems to always have tickets available. Is there anything wrong with this excursion? I am slightly afraid that because it is "on your own" that we could get lost in the cities....would love to hear about others who have done this excursion? Thank you.

Someone on a Princess cruise posted on Facebook (their cruise is in April) that their Marsaille excursion was cancelled and they don't know why. They didn't say which one. Someone responded that perhaps the city might be getting ready for the summer Olympics (?) and another said they heard there was unrest in Marsailles. I know that it is a town that deals with alot of poverty and crime. Does anyone know if anything negative is going on?

I love pickleball and play quite a few times a week. However, after I tore my bicep tendon and my husband broke his hip, I will stay far far away from the PB court when I'm on a cruise.

That's what I'm worried about. I have Plus, and with so many people on The Sun Princess, I'm wondering if its' going to be hard to get into O'Malleys AND Alfredos.

So for my upcoming trip on the Sun, O'Malley's has now shown up on the Princess App. (please note that Alfredo's has not shown up). When I try to book a reservation, it tells me that there is NO availability for the entire cruise. Does this seem right? I didn't think that the casual restaurants were taking reservations, and if they are, do you think this is a glitch that Alfredo's is not coming up and that O'Malley's doesn't have any open reservations? To add craziness to crazy, I'm thinking now of doing the Sun Princess from Athens to Barcelona. We were supposed to do that last year on The Enchanted, but had to cancel. So, I am now holding two reservations for next year, Alaska and Greece. I'll keep both for now while I make up my mind which one to do. If I decide to keep Alaska, I will then book Hubbards Glacier. Thank you all for the advice. Oh, and one last thing.....I ended up booking something totally different for Gibralter (will be going to St. Michaels cave in Gibralter which I am very excited about and then Aix-Proveno in Marsailles which I am really excited about now too. Soooo glad I booked the two Italy excursions months ago!

I learned a good lesson on my upcoming Barcelona to Rome cruise this year. Book your excursions early. I was lucky as I grabbed two in Italy months ago, and now had a hard time booking for Gibralter and Marsailles. Anyway, with that in mind, we are sailing Princess in Alaska summer of 2025. This will be a repeat cruise. I'd like to book that special boat in Hubbards' Glacier ($299 pp YIKES!!!) now before we get locked out of that. Its the boat that takes you as far as it can go right up close. And yes, I've done the cruise before, but stayed on our ship and envied those that did the excursion. Am I crazy to book over a year in advance? My full payment isn't even due until next March 2025. What do ya'll think? Thanks.

Hello. I booked a cruise in June of 2023 for this May. I booked the Princess Plus. The two casual dining are still not appearing anywhere. Every time I've called Princess (full disclosure, I haven't called them in a few months) they've assured me I still have the two dining casuals. Why can't I see it with my own eyes? Has anyone run into this and have cruised and did indeed have the two casual dining meals? Thanks.

Would like to hear the good and bad about this? I've watched some videos but would like to hear down to earth opinions on the actual food.

I was started to wonder about Viator because as I did more research, I discovered that they were doing this on behalf of some other company, ...the name eludes me now but I thought it started with a D. As far as doing something on our own.....my whole exploration attitude started expiring about a year ago. I am now becoming a little afraid of wandering around not with a tour group. My husband and I are up there in age.... I wish I had done alot of this traveling a while back. My comfort zone right now basically rests with just Disney World, for what it's worth, lol.

Marseille Shore Excursion: City Sightseeing Tour of Marseille. Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? It's only about $89 and 4 hours. I don't want any full day excursions and this trip will allow me to see Palais Longchamp which is the only thing I want to see in Marsaeille. I've heard that you need to walk very far to get to the Viator bus. Any thoughts? Also, does anyone know how often Princess "adds" additional excursions once it is sold out? Thank you.

To clarify....I paid for Plus. I'm guessing I paid $120 a day (2 people) for a total of $840 back when I booked the cruise. To upgrade to Premiere, it looks like it might be around $500 additional now....and I am getting this by playing with the numbers online with a "fake" new booking on the same cruise I am on now.
