Eagle Beach is fabulous, one of the best in the world. Have the beach bar/restaurant where you rent your chairs and umbrella hold your bags and keep your valuables in your carryon with you.

If you are a swimmer, like this Jersey Shore native, Palm Beach, where all the huge hotels are, has a gross muddy bottom and too many noisy families.

Renaissance Hotel, right on the marina downtown used to have day rates for their private island. They have their own water shuttles right from their lobby. It's been a few years but was a nice way to spend a day, about 20 minute ride and included beaches & facilities. There was even a restaurant and out on the beach there were cabanas & massage tables.

Remember that since you go through U.S. Customs and Immigration preclearance in Aruba you should be at the airport at least 3 hours before flight time. Suggest workout, massage and lunch at beautiful Tierra del Sol country club near Palm Beach area...then off to the airport. Can also enjoy the pool and time for some final sunshine.
