VOLENDAM LOOKS GREAT!!!

Just got off the Volendam.  Wow! I had an amazing vacation to the Panama Canal!

Everything was great!  The Volendam utilized TV's for their daily trivia.  The first HAL ship I have seen do this!

We got on Volendam when they got off, and it was fun to see some of the crew we met on our 28 day Amazon Explorer.  The crew really is the best!  And I agree the ship looks great.  It may be the oldest and smallest ship but it is still a wonderful place to spend some time.

We just got off the ship on Tuesday and I agree that it was in great shape.  Maybe a weird thing to say but I thought the automatic hand washing machine at the Lido buffet was pretty cool lol.  Along more normal lines I liked that the casino was non smoking and that the aft decks on 6 and 7 were so quiet and a nice place to relax since we didn’t have a balcony with our room this time.

Just booked 7 days in Alaska on her for the 31st of May.  Will be almost 19 years since I was last on her.
