klkaylor78 Posted January 6, 2023 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2023 Was looking for good points flight to LIS but most were pretty high and fares were high as well. Went to look at Flight Ease and found some very reasonable oneway fares. Before we bail on our 124K/pp Air France flights I was wondering if you get AA loyalty points/other miles programs with flight ease flights? Sorry if this has been asked before but my multiple searches were not successful.

Although you can put in a FF number, the rules on both miles and loyalty points accrual COMPLETELY depends on the underlying fare rules of your ticket PLUS the underlying rules of the Advantage program. You need to confirm with the AA rules for both miles and LP. You may also need to know the rules of the ticket itself. Same with other airlines. There is no one blanket answer. Airlines want your FF number so that they can more easily manage your travel, as well as data mine for marketing and operational research. Some of us have some sophisticated paid tools for award searches. I am assuming 124,000 is for a one-way business ticket to LIS.
