that doesnt sound attractive.  I have flown Virgin Atlantic (Upper Class) many times.  Fun, hip with high quality service. The Clubhouse in LHR is absolutely great.  I am sure they tried to have that same atmosphere with the ships.

We, like you, are looking to minimize the craziness.  We have tried Oceania and liked it.  Some of the X suite prices are now over $10k and starts to make smaller ships more attractive.  We like the X suites because of food and service.  The bonus is big ship activities after the sun goes down.  Doesn't exist on O.  Dinner is the activity

Virgin Voyages entertainment is very, very, very non traditional cruiseship entertainment. The shows, as such, are less big splashy production shows like you'll find on the E-class ship's main theater and more in line with what you'll find at your neighborhood bar or a small Vegas lounge act. Furthermore a few of the shows are very LGBTQ in origin and content while others feature adult risque content via audience participation shows. If you come on a Virgin cruise you must be very opened minded as to the entertainment choices or you'll be very, very, very bored.

Well the VV status match replied and matched me but its only temporary through the end of March, unless they decide to extend it.  VV has teased they will be deploying an update to their loyalty program.  What kills this for us are their two ships are in the Caribbean (would love to do Europe) through March

Are they offering you a comped cruise for that time period?

Some photos of the Sweets currently offered on the Valiant Lady. They are superior in quality and taste to any offerings Celebrity has and probably the best of all the mainstream lines. The majority of the offerings are land-based specialty bakery quality. They TASTE as good as they LOOK.

we be on Valiant lady in 11 days on our 3rd comp casino cruise. The FOOD is the main reason we keep coming back (and service), we have done Caribbean far too many times and may not even get off ship. We also have upcoming comp on X but likely will cancel due to all of the cut backs.

Did 30 days on SilverSea last summer and food is better on Virgin IMHO...same BS as X they cut corners all over the place. Prior to Covid, SS was our fav, but now it's Virgin. Talk about a HUGE difference in demographics!
