Looks like the dollar off rewards got updated. Sail by is now 2/28/25.

The $750 is gone. I'll wait and see if it comes back before purchasing again.

In the meantime, since it got changed anyone want to try to buy the $500 and see if it gets around the 180 day lockout? (Assuming you were locked out.) Although it will probably prevent you from getting the $750 off if it ever shows up again.

@KKB After we bought one we found a second cruise but we waited because of the 60 day rule. You should have the same terms but different dates.

Reward Terms and Conditions
This is a premium reward. Limited to one Norwegian Cruise Line reward in-app purchase every 60 days. Must book within 45 das of reward purchase and sail by 12/31/24. This reward is non-refundable after purchased in the rewards store. Cruise sail date must be by December 31st, 2024.

When booking with the voucher through the Casino booking, can we still also apply whatever the current sales deals are?

Yep

Hi there, I am kind of new to myVEGAS. I was curious how often there are free cruises versus the dollar off.

Is there a time that the deals are better than others? I’m perfectly fine with waiting!

I’m also curious if I already have a cruise booked, but the final payment is not made. Can I add the coupon to that reservation? Would my consultant lose the booking to CAS?

Thank you!

the last "free" ncl was maybe late last year. or maybe january this year. but do note free cruises on NCL from my vegas incur a $20 per day admin fee.

Thank you! This is helpful-

$20/day doesn’t bug us. I appreciate you responding!

i should clarify $20/day/per person. Of course the daily service charge is on top of that.

Not seen any NCL only RC in the past.   You can only apply voucher to new bookings.

I’d love a free cruise either way on either line! Holding onto my points and my fiancée’s!

As for the “new booking” I think if my final payment isn’t made they can just refare the cruise or cancel and rebook. I haven’t made any payments on it, just put the deposit CruiseFirst on. Which I also believe is combinable with the pop slots coupon.

Still a great deal! Depending on the sailing that is. Fingers crossed one comes around on NCL or RC

FWIW, RC does not charge the admin fee. they had free cruises in february, but for australia departures. I probably wouldn't expect any RC cruises based on their strong demand. prior to that i think the last free RC cruises departed in Dec 2022.

You'd think that's the case with Royal Caribbean but their casino is run by a third party from what I understand. They get an allotment of cabins and do with them as they please. I barely played anything with them and earn Prime status. I keep getting offers and already booked 9 cruises so far right after the cruise I started playing which was a myVEGAS comp 16 day out of Australia. I have yet to go on the first of the 9 I booked so far. They haven't limited me yet. No admin fees and I feel their taxes and fees are lower too.

The problem with the free cruises besides the admin fees (for NCL) are the dates and itineraries offered. You'd have to be super flexible. Once you get a free cruise you're locked out for months (maybe even 6 months) before you can get another. I've booked one only to see a better one come up later that I couldn't book.

Free cruises have been there before--they were several million points & are very specific dates, so be prepared for that. But no promises that they will be back again. No rhyme or reason to timing.

Yes, you could cancel & rebook & yes, your travel agent would lose the booking if you did so since these go thru CAS. (and yes, you can also use a CruiseNext or CruiseFirst voucher)

I personally prefer dollar off better than free cruise for reason that other stated about it being too high points to redeem or fixed dates or admin fees. The dollar off provides flexibility.

One thing to note, if you go for dollar off. NCL consider it was a land cruise offer and they will assign MyVegas as your TA. You will be unable to add another TA and there will be commission to them a.k.a No benefits/gifts for you.

Don't count on them re-faring. Your reservation would need to be transferred from the main system over to CAS. Some have had success, others have been flat out told NO, and referred to the T&Cs that say "new bookings" only (which at least used to include a caveat about booking on the same ship and sale date as a previous reservation)

Worst case scenario is I cancel my original booking and just rebook. A little annoying luckily I don’t pay until the final payment is due

There has previously been a clause in the T&C (and it may still be there, I haven't needed to check) that specifically addresses this and prohibits the coupon from being used on a reservation for the same ship and sail date that has been previously been booked. Thus "new reservations only." Your experience may differ, and some people have had success. But others have been denied. Just trying to provide you with all the information so that you can make an informed decision.
