Beach/shopping

There will be 8 of us.  Can we get of the ship and walk to Beach/Shopping?  What do you suggest?  We've never been to this port before.

Yes, exit port, take the road with sea to one’s left.  
Reach the Broadwalk, turn left, arrived.

Shops etc are along Front Street, running parallel to Broadwalk, to one’s right behind venues with sea to one’s left.

And you will be able to see all of this from an upper deck of your ship, for orientation.

To miss part of the busy main road, turn left into the Marina complex and wind and meander through it, with a sea view to the Broadwalk on one’s left

A beach runs the whole length of the Broadwalk, complete with bed rental vendors

I'm assuming all of this is walking distance and we do not need to worry about a taxi from the ship?

About 20 minutes for one without mobility problems.

 

I for one would not even put a toe in the water of Great Bay.
