Stateroom wine allotment

My husband and I are traveling with his brother on LOS.  He is a single cruiser.  I know we can carry on 2 bottles of wine however since he is the only one in his stateroom, is he limited to 1 or 2 bottles?  Thanks.

2 bottles per cabin regardless of occupancy.

I'll be bringing two bottles on the Anthem in March even though I'm single occupancy.

I cruised solo on Serenade 11/5/2022 and brought 2 bottles of wine with me.  That's what the ship regulations specified.

It is 2 bottles per carry on and 2 in each piece of luggage 👍

Well that's not true at all...but I'm pretty sure you can get away with it. We plan on doing 2 each in our carry on and just going through separate security lines.

RCL specifically says 2 bottles per room … brought on in carry on bag.

Why not post the exact article from RCI's site? This would or should eliminate incorrect info.

”On boarding day, guests may bring onboard two (2) 750 ml bottles of personal wine or champagne per stateroom in their carry-on luggage.”
