Can I make reservations for the steakhouse before boarding?

When I tired it just added it to my cart, but didn't let me choose a time/day.  I want to go when they offer a free bottle of wine.

That’s strange. For my cruise when I add the steakhouse to my cart I get a page to pick a day and time

You can make the reservation.  You must pay at the time of reserving.

 

It's possible it was down?

Or are you trying to reserve on a cruise that is far out in the future, I do not think this option is available until within a certain number of months prior to sailing.

No.  I am leaving in two days.  I'm trying to book it for the first night and I'm afraid it will sell out.  I'll try a different browser.  Another quick question.  Is it worth the money and do you tip even though the price says it includes tip?

Gratuity is included. Any tip above and beyond is up to you and not expected. 
 

worth the money is subjective. It’s not to me but might be to you.

I find it well worth it and always visit the steakhouse on all of our cruises....the level of service and quality of food is beyond comparable.  I have never been disappointed in my decision to go.  I always tip a little extra but that is definitely just a choice and not required.

If you are leaving in 2 days the odds of you getting a reservation now is slim to none especially for the first night.  It is worth the money and we always tip extra because the service is usually that good.

May be sold out before the voyage but if you stop by the steakhouse on embarkation day they might still have tables available, just not on the website.

If you are sailing in 2 days, they have probably locked reservations already.
