Is there too young an age to river cruise?

I went on a river cruise when I was 10 and can tell you I loved it, and very much enjoyed it and 41 years later i still have fond memories. I think it depends on the interest level of the kiddo traveling and where the cruise goes. This was a trip booked through a museum and i was the only child on the trip. But, i had a very strong interest in the place we went so that makes a difference.
