Ultimate Dining Package

Anyone take recently the Ultimate Dining Package?  Tips included?  Seeing a good price on a trip but not so good if a gratuity is added to each meal.  Thanks.  Katherine

The 18% is added in your shopping cart when you buy the dining package. It's not added again when you go to the restaurants.

Thank you.  Going to book the package because it’s a no brainer.   We would purchase at least 3 specialty dinners anyway so it makes sense for us.  Katherine

Same for us. You lose the ability to make reservations ahead of the cruise but doing all reservations right when you get on for the week has never been a problem.

As soon as you get on the ship go to the first specialty restaurant and book all the reservations you want. They can book them all for you for all the locations.

Any restaurant can help you get those reservations when you board. Avoid doing so at the restaurant that is open for lunch on boarding day because they will be busy. I like having a plan written down with our names, room and reservation numbers, and any priority reservations if you care about certain times for certain days. Pay attention to port days and how much time you might want for cleaning up and relaxing before dinner. You can always change things later but on busier cruises it's good to have something booked right away.

Is it possible to make the reservations using the app as soon as you board or when logged into ship’s wifi at check in?
