Looking for a Hotel Recommendation Near Carnival Terminal Long Beach

I've been looking at the Westin Long Beach for a pre-cruise stay (only 1 night).  Rates look pretty good...

Should I be looking at anything else?  Any sites with a shuttle (either to the cruise terminal or from LAX?)

First time debarking from LA area!

None will have a shuttle from LAX...too far away.

Westin is fine, Hyatt Centric and Hyatt Regency are my favorites. If I wanted a Marriott property, I'd book the Residence Inn. If I wanted a Hilton, I'd book the Hotel Maya DoubleTree.

I went ahead and booked Westin, mainly for the location.

I booked the Westin a few months ago for our cruise in April and check the website periodically to see if there have been any price drops.  Checked today and website shows the hotel is sold out.  Glad we’re arriving early in case they’ve overbooked.
