FOXTROT Posted February 5, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 5, 2023 Our Crown & Anchor status on RCL is Pinnacle. Three years ago, when we sailed with Celebrity. Our upper tier status did not carry over, nor did the cruise points get credited to our Crown & Anchor account. People are telling us if we sail now with Celebrity, we would be the same as their top tier with all the benefits. Plus, our Crown & Anchor account would be credited. Which is correct? No. Nothing has changed from three years ago. You will be recognized as Elite, and your points will not add to your C&A total, just to your Captain's Club total. PhillyFan33579 Posted February 5, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 5, 2023 I have sailed on Celebrity twice recently and what the previous poster stated was exactly what happened to us (Elite status and points earned went to Celebrity’s loyalty program). FOXTROT Posted February 5, 2023 Author #4 Share Posted February 5, 2023 Thank you. That is what I thought. Several people have said it has changed, but it is how they word it that is misleading.
Spurschick Posted February 5, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 5, 2023 Agreed. We are D+ went in as Elite. Points are exclusive to each individual line. Celebrity does not award points anywhere near the same scale as Royal. Eg if we stay in a suite we get 2 points a night on Royal, but our X suite got us 18 points a night with them. the programs are completely separate and do not cross over. the only cruise line that I believe will allow you to go in as top tier level is MSC . We did status match with them and went in at top tier which was nice as gives us all the best benefits with them.

Which is correct? “People” are incorrect. Nothing has changed. There is a reciprocal agreement between the lines. As Pinnacle you will be recognised as Elite and get the Elite benefits on X. X CC points do not get added to your RCI C&a total. RCI C&A points do not get added to your X CC total.
