Teibban Posted February 12, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2023 Hi everyone, Going on the Seascape in 14days. The app does not show the terminal that the ship will ve docked. In the etickets paper, in the fineprint at the end, it says that Divina is terminal E and Seascape is terminal C. Is this still the case as I have seen some people in January saying the terminal sometimes change. Thanks Jonathan

MSC is building a new terminal (I think AA) but it won't be ready until spring. I called MSC twice to find out our embarkation terminal and was told by both it was F. Is wasn't. You will see your ship as you enter the port area which is pretty confusing.
Teibban Posted February 12, 2023 Author #3 Share Posted February 12, 2023 What was your terminal finally? We will be taking Uber to the port and I think you need to specify which Terminal you want to get to. Am I right?
SirWolf Posted February 12, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 12, 2023 (edited) You can verify the exact mooring location by using one of the many free marine/cruise ship mapping websites .. in the morning on the day of embarkation. MSC Seascape is in port of Miami at the moment .. at cruise terminal C . Edited February 12, 2023 by SirWolf
stp_mmh5 Posted February 12, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2023 Port Of Miami also has their daily docking report available online, and shows the expected pier/terminal. It's been pretty accurate in my experience in showing what terminal MSC will use. Also useful for forecasting whether you will return to the same terminal or not. https://wwwx.miamidade.gov/Apps/Seaport/dailydock/Default.aspx

Av8tor Posted February 12, 2023 #7 Share Posted February 12, 2023 On Jan 29 and Feb 5 & 12 Seascape used terminal C. For Uber drop-off is C east and pick-ups are C west. Yacht Club tent is at C east.
mmbcater Posted February 12, 2023 #8 Share Posted February 12, 2023 They float terminals until theirs is built between C D F. It depends on port schedule-sometimes the captain does not know until the day before what terminal. I spoke to captain DiPalma one day at lunch during an event on this. The captains are anxiously awaiting the new terminal!!!

Any update on when it will be opening in December? We will be sailing in December and just wonder what the odds are that we will be able to use the nee terminal. That would be exciting OR a mess since the kinks won't be worked out yet. Either way, we tend to pack patience on embarkation day.
