lpmpsail Posted February 14, 2023 #1 Share Posted February 14, 2023 Do we earn Mariner points through gambling at the casino on board?
Rare FlaMariner Posted February 14, 2023 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2023 Here is the fine print....the question would be "is buying chips" an onboard purchase? I would think so but others who frequent the casino will be around shortly to advise. 1 bonus credit will be granted for every $300 spent in onboard purchases. Unlvswezel Posted February 14, 2023 #3 Share Posted February 14, 2023 If you charge chip to your on board account it counts as onboard purchases. Also a great way to maximize CC miles.
Rare VMax1700 Posted February 14, 2023 #4 Share Posted February 14, 2023 Details on the website under 'Already Booked' > 'Mariner Loyalty Program' Are any onboard charges excluded from the onboard purchase bonus? All casino charges, cash advances, Future Cruise deposits, and associated fees are excluded. All other onboard purchases, for example, Crew Incentive Charge, Beverage Service Charge, taxes, shore excursions and all gift items purchased online or through Ship Services count towards bonus Cruise Day credits.
ChinaShrek Posted February 15, 2023 #5 Share Posted February 15, 2023 Playing the slots, I have charged thousands of dollars to my onboard account. No Mariner Points were awarded for them.

However, is a couple has the HIA package, it's assessed value fulfills the $300/day mariner point qualifier on its own so the casino spending wouldn't matter even if it was creditable.
