$100 OBC as part of Promotion - can I use before I board?

Now this may seem like a dumb question, but I'm in a live chat right now with a Princess rep and he said he doesn't know if I can use the $100 OBC to pre-book a thermal suite pass.  Can I only use it for specialty dining or shopping onboard then?   Can I use it for the Sanctuary if I can get in?  I got the OBC as part of choosing the "better" rate.

If the rep allows you to use it, jump at the chance.  Typically, that is not the case.  You have to pay in advance for items, services and excursions that you pre-book and you have to use a credit card (or PayPal) to do that.  The OBC really is for "OB".

Sorry. I accidentally included "excursions" in my sentence above. I actually think that you can use OBC for excursions.  But I don't think you can for services or dining.

You can use the OBC for excursions prior to sailing. That is it for everything else you can use it once you board. If you book an excursion it will ask you if you want to apply credits or not
