Yes.  US dollars are widely accepted in Cayman for pretty much everything.

keep in mind the conversion factor

 

$1US = 80 cents CI (street rate)

 

IOW your $10US is $8CI

 

many bars and rest's will automatically add 15% tip and usually prices are in CI .....

 

US dollars are accepted but don't be surprised if change is CI .....
