My wish granted: New Itineraries from Galveston for 2024/25

My only wish for a Galveston cruise is to be able to skip Cozumel entirely without it being a 10+ day adventure....

Edit: Now that I calculate, it appears to be too far by maybe 200-250 nautical miles.  We once did a wonderful 8 night on Freedom from Ft. Lauderdale.... Cozumel, Limon, CR and Colon; just close enough.  Galveston is just too far north, I fear. And even if technically possible, that's a helluva lot of fuel at max speed.

Rcl did 3 of the 10 day cruises to Panama and Columbia, didnt go to costa rico.  I missed it jan 30. I was a no show, but did the 10 day march 27 to april 6. Just got back last month.

 

I'm booked for carnival dream 14 days but I've seen some others going there. .. just not in 8 days.

 

If I werent moving to florida imdont think this price is too bad for 10 days miracle to Panama and limon costa rico. I'd do this one.

I actually think that's really expensive @firefly333. But they get premiums for the Texas cruises.

Galveston is my home port. I'm still disappointed. I guess we're just too far north. I get it. Well I'll keep contributing to my airfare fund to fly to FL or the east coast. 

 

I'm just grateful to have Galveston as a home port for quick getaways.
